And saw how she wet your pretty face

Your beauty needs no enhancer nor bronzer
 You are adorable in a most profound way
As a sheen amidst seas of beauties
You glide my thought in a continuous circuit
My love, your smile is a glitter
It gives me fever
Yet it's my quickest fix and cure
My dearest inamorata
I deem of you in my widest thoughts
On each your beauty is engraved

BROKEN

My pen inks in pain with flows of rhythm in my syllables,
ink of emotions spills across my book; searching for miracles.
Our love transcend visibly in a prism wherein our emotions are true,
A perfect economy of true love so impossible to construe.
Here I am thinking of the life we lived and the memories we shared,
The sparks of emotions we created; how much we cared.
Sounds of the bliss and whispers of our love that could be heard,
In our quite moment of affections it was just you and i not a third.
our love could be felt descending from the skies we were under,
Never was there an iota of fear; not a thing to bother.
Our love could travel the world and split the heavens cover,
And this feeling we had was more than all of earths wonder.
I had you in my heart whispering to my soul,
And when you're not with me i'm never in one whole.
When I'm around you I can even hear the stars speak,
Confessing how our love humbles the heavens making it weak.
You were all I had thought in life and in my dream,
And I had felt this perfection that could only be found in heaven's realm.
But life happened and destroyed it all,
Can you hear my heart splitting as it fall?.
Each is a fragment that bleeds of my undying love for you,
Despite how real it is, this love wasn't good enough for you.
No matter how much I try; you will forever be a part of me,
Even though this love is defied and never meant to be.
I was blind; now I understand the expression that love isn't always right.
And breaking everything that I was; can you sleep with a smile at night?
Broken by fate; I shed my tears every night when I cry,
But you live happily like there's a new rainbow in the skies.

THE VOW TO "Ajike" THE BRIDE

There aren't enough stars in the east,
To show number of times my heart beats for you.
There aren't enough desert in the north,
To show how far i'd really go for you.
There aren't enough depth in the lagoon,
To tell you Ajike,how deep my feelings run for you.
Ajike,I'd sail across the niger's,
Climb to the apex of the olumo,
Walk through the lush vegetation of the siambisa,
If that's what it takes to spend eternity with you.
You know,If words could fall like rain,
Form this lyrics of mine.
I will use all the words the earth could gather,
 To tell you, you are the goddess even YEYE could not match.
You are not just the Queen of Maidens,
But the Queen of the Queens who had grace and will ever grace the earth.
From the hills to the valleys of our land,
Comes you Ajike; the source of my joy.
The single reason my hearts river never runs dry,
It's your smile that comes with hope whose shine cannot be faded.
I was lost, when the waves of your love found me,
It carried me like whirlwind,
And brought me to this moment we are.
Your love is that which set me free,
And made your heart the hamlet I call home.

My eyes in awe with you in my arm,
I behold you gracefully in all of your beauty and charm.

It was a desire; that had always been a wish,

They're not too tender to dance the bata dance
Not too firm to kneel to blend pepper with the olo ata .

I might be from the east
But I want to take a walk with you to the feet of Olosunta

I would love to see the beauty of Oduduwa’s staff
With you of course, when we go visiting the ooni of great Ife.
I would take a tour with you to the Alaafin‘s palace
And say hello to the emperor of the oyo empire.
And when we are done
We would step onto the rocky Ado-Ekiti.
The very origin of our love story
And listen to ewi’s ewi at Udiroko.
And when we're tired ajike
And my eyes too weak to see your wrinkled face.
It will still be you and I on our dying bed
Holding hands; waiting for the transit call.
Into the imperiality of Olodumare's kingdom
Where our love will never see the end line of time.
